That is incredibly hot. The girl sitting on the Companion Cube isn't too bad either.

Becca I'm totally with you on the "messy mesh" in sl. For whatever reason my pc is super laggy when I use the mesh viewers so I'm using Singularity which of course I don't see mesh. There's nothing hotter than going into a club and seeing people with no legs or no midsection or maybe no head lol. Mesh is like the "zombie apocalypse" of second life. lol

The impact of Marketplace on in-world stores

Well, that's a fair point I must admit. :o)

Honestly, the one that you had posted that was well-built? While it *did* look nice, I will admit that I don't fancy the clothes-on-a-hanger look. It makes me doubt what I'm buying if I don't see it on a model first.

Thanks Laocakes! *hugs*

Yes, there are arguments for and against, without a doubt. I would very much hope that the wonderful builds like the one I linked the pic of can survive and as for the boring shop I linked, well, I think we're better off without them! Let's keep our fingers crossed that the best happens. :o)
The impact of Marketplace on in-world stores

Unfortunately, I'm helping in the downfall of main-shops. I'm on an older, and quite outdated system (it's a miracle alone that I can log in when I do) - and because of this, I cannot visit in-world shops like I used to, heck, I can barely attend the hunts that I love so much.

I also agree with the blog's input on the shop layouts, how some are terrible eyesores, and some are beautifully done. That's why I fancy the Marketplace so, if I'm looking for a particular outfit price range, I can hit it up in the marketplace instead of walking to the back of a big-arse (and often fugly) shop for the discounts.

Great blog, Becca!

I think you might have missed the point of my article, Zeep. Or maybe didn't click through to the rest of it.
It tells you how to do exactly that but *without* barging people.

You need to move away from the landing point otherwise other people arriving can't land. Also it's not always apparent that there are other people around you until they appear as a white cloud.

One of my pet hates in SL is clubs where the landing point is in the middle of the dancefloor.
Why do club owners do that?
